Who is Arizona Pet Sitting?LLC

We are a family owned and operated professional in-home pet sitting service located in North Phoenix. The day-to-day business operation is done by the owners, Kevin and Wendy Mark assisted by Darren and Jillian. Our 13 additional family members are Karli (Rough Collie who’s teeth chatter during a thunderstorm) Starbucks (Chocolate Lab can flip a treat off his nose) Scully (Australian Shepherd who hates moving and will hide under the Jeep so she isn’t left behind). The rest of our family includes Angus (Bearded Dragon) Izzy (Leopard Gecko – actually Izzabella since she laid eggs) Lou and Blu (2 male Betta) and our six pet Jumbo Rats named: Agatha, Agnus (Mom to all the rest. She was pregnant when we got her and we couldn’t give up the kids), Pumpkin, Porsche, Johnny Lightning, and Speedy!

Growing up and then raising a family in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area we have had the privilege of sharing our homes with many types of animals. Together we have raised many types of dogs – an Afghan Hound, 2 German Shepherds, White German Shepherd, 4 Boxers, 3 Boston Terriers, 2 miniature Daschunds, a long-haired standard Daschund, one Daschund-Chihuahua Mix, a St. Bernard, Cockapoo, Bichon-Frise and Poodle Mix, English Bulldog, and a red Border Collie.

We’ve had our fearless felines as well; PJ (who used to eat cockroaches), Ali-Boo, Slinky (Ali’s Grandma), Little-She (Ali’s Mom), Littlefoot, Stormy, and Pansy.

The family birds have included a Sun Conure, Green Parrot, several Parakeets, ducks, and a Pigeon that Kevin nursed back to health.

Other reptiles included Gizmo the Green Iguana, a tortoise, a turtle, a garter snake, the frog, Apollo the Leopard Gecko, and a water snake.

Then there was my Geronimo (Zebra-dun Horse) a hermit crab, the many hamsters, guinea pigs, pet rats, and let’s not forget the rabbits.

We also have enjoyed many tropical fish aquariums, and had a large Saltwater aquarium for many years. Kevin spent many long hours designing and engineering his own apparatus for the tank.

Kevin as a child was involved in 4H and was a member of the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association). His rabbits won blue ribbons at the Maricopa County Fair.

Darren and Jillian have spent many summers at the Phoenix Zoo attending Camp Zoo and learning about animals from all over the world. Jillian earned her Pet First Aid Certification during the Zoo Teen program.

Because our pets are such a large part of our home life, we have experienced the worry and concern firsthand when having to leave our furry and scaly loved ones in the care of another when going away. So, we decided to expand our natural affinity for animals and our experience into our professional lives as well, helping other pet owners by offering your pets same excellent care, attention and devotion we provide our own pets.
